    Bible Reflection 1 (James 1:22)

Don’t merely listen to the Word, and so deceive yourselves. James 1:22

Everyone has met a Christian that can quote the Bible chapter and verse but seems to be completely unable to put any of what they have memorized to work in their daily life. On the other hand, everyone has also met a Christian who has no idea what John 3:16 says but lives by the teachings of Jesus as perfectly as a flawed human being can.

It is people like these that show what James 1:22 is talking about. It is not enough to simply listen to or read the Word. Knowing what it says it not enough. You must put what it says into practice, or the words on the page are meaningless.

God’s Plan of Salvation (Part 2)

    Introduction:

God now offers salvation to us through our faith in Jesus Christ. We are saved through our faith in Jesus, no through any religion or good works.

To accept Gods, offer of salvation we must do four things:

    • Admit our sins openly and repent (Turn from our sins).
    • Believe that Jesus died for each of us and rose again.
    • Receive the risen Christ by faith as our own personal savior.
    • Publicly confess him as our Lord (Speak up and tell other that Jesus is Lord.)

Here is what happens when we receive Jesus in this way:

    • He comes to live forever in our hearts.
    • He gives us eternal life.
    • He gives us the power to lead a life of righteousness. He gives us victory over our sins.

God’s Plan of Salvation (Part 1)

    Introduction:

Sin is an attitude. It is a rebel attitude inside each of us. It rebels against God. Sin turns into out ward acts that create distance between us and God. We are all sinners in this way. Our sinful lives rob God of the glory He wants and He deserves.

Sin has three results or penalties:

    • Death inside, in our spirit.
    • Death of our bodies.
    • Begin locked up and tortured in a dark place away from God forever.

Jesus came to save us from our sins. Jesus himself never sinned. But he took our sins upon himself. He died in our place, and he rose again from the dead. Jesus did this so that we might be forgiven and leave forever with him.]

The Bible: The Word of God

    Introduction:

The Bible is God’s own word. It is God’s great gift to all people everywhere. God gave this gift to help us out of our sin, misery and darkness.

The Bible is not an ordinary book. Every word is true. It is filled with God’s own power and authority. The men who wrote it were inspired by the holy spirit. God moved them write exactly the truth as he gave it to them.

We should read our bible as if it was God Himself speaking to us directly and personally. By his word, God will give us many good things:

    • Light
    • Understanding
    • Spiritual food
    • Physical health

The words of the bible have the power to:

    • Cleanse us
    • Sanctify us (Set us apart to God)
    • Build us up
    • Make us sharers in God’s own nature
    • Give us power and wisdom to overcome the devil

Hallelujah. He reigns. It is no longer a secret… The formerly demonized Public Primary School is now set free. Thank God for Calvary. It is Kitebi Primary School in Kampala. Witch-doctors even did public satanic rituals including sacrifices of cows, goats, sheep etc, but to no avail.

WE INTERVENED WITH PRAYER. It was like Mount Camel contest. Pr Mark Kiyaga led the Praying team of pastors and intercessors. THE LORD DID A MIGHTY DELIVERANCE… triumph, witch doctors were stopped, their supporters on the staff given transfers, school is now back to normal, with new leadership that has reverence for Jehovah. Four of the stubborn cases were transferred to our church. I delivered them to their parents the following day FREE.

  • Witches taken down!

    Witches taken down!

The Christians of Redeemed life Church Bunamwaya led by Pr Mark Kiyaga Tendo, led local citizens and burnt down all the shrines and broke down the houses that the witches and witch doctors used in this area. These witches had many evil doings. The water spring where the locals fetched water for free was now off limits to the locals. This was the act of these witches. According to the witches,no one was supposed to fetch water from this well for free because it now belonged to them. But thanks to redeemed life church, all chains where broken with prayer. Pr Mark requested most locals to repent and accept Jesus Christ as their Personal Lord and savior.

  • Beautiful Mass Wedding.

    Beautiful Mass Wedding.

Marriage is not just about love. It is more than that. It is about commitment, giving, taking and understanding.
The fact that you want to spend your entire life with someone and be a part of their everyday life means that you are ready to share everything, compromise somewhere, and agree to trust your partner.
Marriage stands the test of times when both you and your spouse work towards making things better. And we are tested the most when we face adversities. If you can sail through the adversities as one, as a team, then you have won half the battle.

God started and ordained marriage in the garden of Eden. In our praise report, redeemed life church was gazetted by the Government of Uganda for celebrating marriages in July 2017. We have so far held our first Mass Wedding of 16 Couples on 2nd September 2017. We are believing God for such Mass Wedding every 2 Years. We continue to wed at a relatively fair cost.
